Among the better know and frequented Carolina Bays is this beauty in Bladen County, NC. Site of a State Park with a fully-developed infrastructure of parking and beach facilities, Jones Lake's open waters and sandy bottom have given us a beautiful setting to enjoy nature. Perhaps not a typical wild jungle Carolina bay habitat, but it serves the state's residents well and is very accessible.
