Baybridge Bay is located in rural Columbia County, SC, 7km southeast of Blythewood. It conforms well to the bayCarolina archetype, although the baySouth would also fit here.

As recent as 2006, Google Satellite imagery finds no development on this bay. Since then, an entire community of homes has sprung up. I named this after Baybridge Drive, which leads over the southeastern rim and down into the bay. So it seems that whoever named the road knew a "bay" existed at that location, although quite small at 270 meters across.

There are currently at least two drainages cut across the bay's rim, but both are road cuts made into the bay to support the construction of homes. so the bay may have been a natural wetland in 2006.
