Tony Hill Bay is located 10 kilometers southeast of Bamburg, SC. The bay matches the baySouth archetype quite well, and is orientated similarly to other bays in the immediate area. With a major axis of over 2.39 kilometers, Tony Hill Bay is among the 200 largest bays in our survey of 50,000 bays.

The bay has an extensive drainage network, and has been put into agricultural, grazing and timber uses. No standing water is obvious in the imagery.

The bay does offer a diverse bird habitat, as noted in a report of sightings of Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron, Ovenbird and Louisiana Waterthrush. Reference Carolina Bird Club v57n3 PDF Link
