Fox Hunter Bay, DE

Fox Hunter Bay, located in Deleware, was named by me after the local road which passes through the western side of the bay. The bay's shape is well represented by the bayBell archetype, while its orientation is similar to others in the area.

The bay is entirely in agricultural use, and is drained by a ditch which runs across the center of the bay, as well as by drainage along the sides of Fox Hunter Road.

Streetview is looking west from Fox Hunter Road, out along a driveway. In the distance, the drive can be see to rise up just as it reaches the buildings, which are on the elevated rim. See this in your browser using this LINK , or see in Google Earth's Streetview facility by selecting the placemark in the referenced KMZ file.
